Now the "Kalashnikov" has gained the rights to the Kalashnikov guns brands that are used in games. The concern has registered the trademarks of their weapons on new classes.

The company registered trademark "AK-47" and "AK-74" on several new classes: computer games, cartoons, weapons models, printed materials and watches. Now the concern can enter into contracts on the use of "Kalashnikov” brands.

AK-47 is used in more than a hundred of shooters including Warface by Mail.Ru Group and the Counter-Strike by Valve. Probably "Kalashnikov" will focus on the work with the developers of computer games. Transactions can bring millions of dollars to concern.

However the concern can legally make claims only for the games released after January 20, 2014 - then the "Kalashnikov" has applied for trademark registration. In addition these proceedings have not yet carried out in Russia.
